Ok, so I'm absolutely in love with Madrid. Every year when we come to Spain, we always spent maybe a day in Madrid at the most, and never got to see much of it. This year, my sister and I decided we wanted to definitely explore the city a little more, so we planned 5 days in Spain's capital. I am SO glad we did! It is amazing in every way. There is an endless amount of things to do, from rooftops to shopping to eating. The city is extremely clean and also very safe, two things you can not always say about NYC (still love you, big apple!). The city is so alive, with countless people out and about at all hours of the day. There is so many adorable shops and places to eat, and relatively cheap! My sister and i have discovered our new go-to gluten free cupcake store, which we are obsessed with. We have basically stopped there for a cupcake every day since we have discovered it! The subway system is also so easy to use and insanely clean, making moving around convenient and quick. I definitely can see myself possibly living here one day.
