Hi everyone! So i am finally getting a chance to post about my stay in Barcelona! We stayed in Barcelona for 2 days, 1 night, on our way back from Mallorca. The hotel we stayed in was the Barcelo Sants, and it was amazing. It was very modern and almost space-like themed, so everything was futuristic and fun. Since we were only in Barcelona for 2 days, we wanted to fit in everything we could. So of course we walked down Las Ramblas, and visited the most amazing market called La Boqueria. In the market they had everything from fresh smoothies (only 1 euro each!), to tapas, to fresh fish. Last time we were in Barcelona it was closed, so i was so excited to explore it this time around. While in the market, i had the most delicious ice cream EVER. It was one scoop of banana coconut and one scoop of banana caramel. I am still dreaming of it to this day. We also, of course, had to see some of Gaudi's masterpieces during our stay. We walked to two of his buildings, Casa Batllo and Casa Mila, which are right across from each other. Both were gorgeous and amazing works of architecture. Next we saw Sagrada Familia, another work of Gaudi's, which was also just breathtaking. At night we dined at the most amazing market, El Nacional , which was a large building with several different restaurants inside it. Each had a specialty they served, like meat or fish.
