West Village is possibly my favorite village in Manhattan. It is undeniably adorable, with tons of cute shops and yummy restaurants. Its very quaint looking, which i love, with cast iron fences and brick buildings covered in moss. Trees line the streets, and theres a gelato store on every corner. Can you even ask for more? I dream to live there one day, but for now i will just have to settle with visiting every now and then. We ate both Sushi and Italian in the West Village during our stay in Manhattan, an both were delicious. I honestly think there isn't a bad restaurant in the village, for we have yet to find one! After exploring the West Village, we decided to visit the Chelsea Market and the High line, which we have never done before. What took us so long? The Chelsea Market is ADORABLE and so interesting. Its indoors and filled with shops (hand-made jewelry galore) and fun food stores. My dad had to stop for oysters (his favorite) so my sister and i ventured off for a bit. In the market is a store full of independent jewelry owners, and everything was handmade or vintage. It was heaven, to say the least. I found the most adorable evil eye bangle and a matching thin bracelet, both handmade and size extra small (!!!), it was so meant to be. After, we went up to explore the High-line, which was busy with all the Easter Sunday activities. Its absolutely adorable, and the weather was perfect for a nice stroll. I highly suggest everyone visit both locations when in NYC, you will not regret it. On the way back to our hotel, we passed the DVF where Diane herself lives. Unfortunately there was no spotting, but it was pretty cool to see! Until next time, xx
