Beach Essentials

Summer is by far my favorite season, with fall a close second, for everything is carefree and easy. Long, sunny days and salty hair, whats not to love? Of course, protecting yourself from the sun is very important, my mother made sure i know that! I am always trying new SPF products and beach-friendly makeup, yet theres always so much out there I'm sure i haven't even discovered. Below are my favorite sun essentials, and feel free to list yours in the comment section below, i would love to hear from you all!

In my beach bag:
Supergroup Skin-Soothing Mineral Sunscreen: My absolute favorite face sunscreen to date! I have sensitive skin, and most sunscreen burn my face and leave me very oily, which i hate. This is the first one that hasn't stung, and its super lightweight and hypoallergenic. Definitely a must when you have to apply sunscreen everyday. Also a plus, it doesn't have that potent sunscreen smell.
Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 45: This has been in my beach bag for years, and i can't go anywhere tropical without it! Its a super sheer mineral powder in a convenient brush applicator. I put it over my sunscreen to keep my face matte as well as protected. The best part is that it doesn't melt, so its perfect to bring along in a beach bag. It truly makes sunscreen touchups super easy and hassle free.
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen: For the body, this is the best sunscreen around. Great consistency, and amazing smell. Its super lightweight and non-greasy. Im not a big fan or clear spray sunscreens, so this works perfectly.
Magazines, Sunnies, Camera, Book: The basics, couldn't go to the beach or pool without these!
Till next time,

Tropical

 Top: H&M | Shorts: H&M | Shoes: Karen Scott | Purse: Gucci | Necklace: H&M

As i said in a previous post, I'm totally loving palm tree and tropical inspired separates for summer. Whats more perfect than matching your surroundings? I found these H&M shorts in store a couple weeks ago and just couldn't pass them up. The texture and slight volume to them add interest, which is another reason i bought them. I paired them with a simple tight white tank to balance the shorts volume. A gold chain choker and neutral purse & shoes complete the look. Beach essential post coming soon!

Cruisin

Dress: Unknown (bought at boutique) | Sunnies: Dior

How amazing is this water? It is so blue i couldn't even believe it. We went on the most beautiful boat cruise to various different beaches the other day, and it was so much fun. Everything on this island is post-card worthy, from the crystal clear waters to the rock cliffs. I finally wore this maxi dress that has been in my closet forever, for i thought it was just perfect for the situation. Stay tuned for many more blog posts, and don't forget to follow my Instagram account @neutraletnoir for more photos! Xx.

Mallorca

 View from our balcony... STUNNING

Purse: Prada | Top: Forever 21 | Skirt: H&M

After 24 hours of traveling, we have finally arrived in Mallorca, Spain. Let me tell you, it is absolutely breathtaking! The beaches are silky white and the water is a pure turquoise/green. The best part is that it can all be seen from the convenience of our balcony! We are staying at the Barcelo, an all inclusive resort, and it is in the absolute perfect location. It is right on the beach and only seconds from countless little shops and restaurants. I can't wait to explore more of the island during our stay! Xx.

All White

Shorts: Forever 21 | Top: Zara (no longer available) | Purse: Gucci | Sunnies: Dior

I love nothing more than an all white outfit in the summer. It is such a fresh way to wear your white separates. When wearing white on white, i like to play up texture and prints to keep in interesting, like i did above. Pairing my white striped shirt from Zara with creamy white shorts from Forever 21 was how i achieved this look! I am also wearing my new Dior Reflected sunnies, which i am absolutely obsessed with! They were a gift from my boyfriend, and are definitely my new favorite shades. Till next time loves,

Knits & Prints

Top: Necessary | Shorts: H&M | Bag: Gucci | Sunnies: Ray Ban | Shoes: BCBG (no longer available)

Patterned separates are so fun and a great way to add color and interest to any outfit. I found these adorable H&M shorts, and at $12.99, couldn't pass them up! They are they perfect fit, slightly slouchy, and high waisted. I paired them with a knitted tank to play up the texture of the outfit. Bright coral lips brought it all together.

The countdown to Spain has begun! This years family vacation is going to be super amazing, for we have tons of fun things planned. The first week starts at a resort in the beautiful island of Mallorca, then from there Barcelona. Scotland is a possibly stop too. I can't wait! And of course, i will be blogging the entire time. One week :)

Palm Leaf Vibes

Dress: H&M | Shoes: Steve Madden | Bag: Gucci | Sunnies: Ray Ban

Hello everyone! Its been quite a bit since i posted last, but expect many more posts these next coming weeks, for i have a lot planned! I am currently vacationing in Florida with my boyfriend, for he lives here. I am absolutely loving this hot, sunny weather. I just can't get enough! I naturally brought my H&M palm leaf printed dress with me, for there isn't a more perfect location to wear it. I paired the dress with gold accessories to pull it all together.

I just recently bought these Steve Madden shoes, for they reminded me so much of a Giuseppe Zanotti pair i have always loved, but for a fraction of the price. They also go with just about anything! Xx
